Christmas Day

Santa did make a stop by our house. Jack got up and pointed at the tree. He then ran over and grabbed the first gift he saw. He was so excited. He was a little disappointed to find out the first thing he grabbed was a new shirt for Daddy.

However, the next gift was for him. He got a boat to play in the bath tub with.

He stopped and played with it for a minute then he was off. He was so excited about getting another gift from under the tree.

When he got to the tree there was so many to choose from he did not know which one to get next. He finally picked one and brought it to Daddy to help him open it.

Santa brought Jack the book Tickle Monster. It is so cute. It comes with these monster gloves that are for tickling. Jack loves the book but he also loves to run from you when you tickle him.

He ran to the tree and got the next gift and brought it to me. We opened it and it was a little computer for him. He always wants to play on our computer so he loves this one.

The next gift he got was for Daddy. However, he wanted to try out the coffee cup to see how it worked. He did not like it very much so he ran and got another gift.

The next gift was for him and it was a new bath towel. I think Daddy liked the monkey towel more then he did.

The next gift was a for Jack and it was a new nap mat with his name on it. He tried it out for about a minute before he was running to get the next gift.

The next gift was a mat for Jack to play with his car on. He had to take a minute and play with his cars.

The next gift was a purse and new charm for Mommy. Jack was not very interested in this.

The next gift was for Daddy and he got new slippers. The only gift left was the really big one and it was for Jack.

It took him awhile to open it and then he had to crawl in the box to get the gift out.

He was very excited to see the tricycle. He has really been wanting one. He always wants to ride them at Wal-Mart. He could not really figure out how to ride it. But, he just wanted to sit on it.

He even moved it in front of the TV so he could sit on it there. Daddy got some chocolates in his stocking.

Mommy got some mint cookies. Jack got a new DVD, some Cracker Jacks, a new toothbrush, and some animal crackers.

He wanted to use his new Cars toothbrush immediately. So Daddy took him to the bathroom to brush his teeth.

Next it was time for Christmas Breakfast. Jack really liked the pancakes.

We did not have a white Christmas....but this is what we saw out the window the day after Christmas.

I took Jack outside to check it out. He walked around for a minute but was ready to go inside. It was so cool outside.

The Night Before Christmas

We raced home, after enjoying time with our families, to get our Christmas Eve traditions taken care of. As soon as we walked in the door I started the cookies for Santa. Next we went outside to sprinkle our reindeer food in the yard. Jack wanted to read his new book from Nana so we took it outside with us.

Then it was time to open our Christmas Eve PJ's. Jack helped Daddy open his camo PJ's and then he helped Mommy open her plaid PJ's.

When it was his turn to open his he sat in his chair and waited. After he opened the box and saw it was PJ's he walked off to go and play.
We forgot to open the count down to Christmas bag #2 the night before and it had candy in it so we decided to skip it (Jack had enough candy over the past two days to last him for a while). However we opened bag #1 and Jack was excited to see his new car inside. Then it was time for our family picture in our new PJ's.

Daddy sat down with Jack and read him the story "The Night Before Christmas." He loved the pop up book that Daddy read this year.

Then it was time to put the milk and cookies out for Santa. Of course Jack and Daddy had to test out Mommy's cookies. I think they both liked them.

And of course I had to try my own cookies and they were great. Then it was time for bed. Jack went straight to sleep after having such a big day.

I am really proud of our new stockings. Jack really liked his because it had a train on it.
