Brent's First Weekend Home

Last weekend was Brent's first weekend back from Nashville. I did not think Jack would really get really excited to see him. I just thought he would be excited like he usually is when Daddy comes home from work. Well when Brent opened that door and came in Jack just started squealing like a pig and running around. He was so excited to see his Daddy. Daddy also brought him something back, a green eggs and ham lunch box. Jackson has just started carrying things with a handle around so he loved it.



Later that day Jack and Daddy went outside to play. It was such a nice day. Mom stayed inside to clean up. It is so hard to keep your house ready to show all the time.

I know some of you may think there is nothing to knit or crochet during the summer. Jack will not be getting any cute summer hats, however there are lots of other cute things. So if you see him in this outfit the next time you see him, it is because I worked hard on it and want him to wear it more than once. He looked so cute.

Easter

I took Jack to get his picture made with the Easter Bunny. He would not smile he just kept looking like why am I sitting here. I put his bunny hat on for a picture and the Easter Bunny was kind enough to hold the floppy ears up.

 

Jackson had his first Easter egg hunt at MawMaw's. I am going to be sad for him to leave her. He just loves her and loves going to daycare. Every morning he is tyring to get out of his car seat to see if she is standing at the door waiting for him.

 One of Jackson's friends at daycare even shared his eggs with him.

We had to officially move Brent this weekend. So Daddy called the Easter Bunny on the phone for Jackson and told him where he would be. Last year the Easter Bunny left Jackson a basket and told him to put it outside every Easter and he would hop by and leave him a Easter surprise. Brent helped Jack put his basket out and....

the next morning his basket was full of candy and a toy. I let him eat the chocolate and he loved it. He also liked the peeps. Brent said he could not believe the Easter Bunny did not bring him apples and oranges.

Everyone has been asking about our new apartment so I took some pictures of it. All I can say is it is an apartment. I don't think we are going to be able to fit our bedroom suit in one bedroom. So for a little while we are going to be crammed in this little space. But for now it looks big with nothing in it.

 

Our First House

 

Our house is for sale! It is exciting but sad at the same time. As I was cleaning the house I realized how much I am going to miss living in this house. So I decided to take pictures and put them on the blog so one day when Jackson ask about the first house we lived in as a family I can show him these pictures.
