Brent's B'day

Brent's birthday was this week so we had chocolate peanut butter cup cupcakes from Jillybeans. This is the new cupcake and ice cream store on the square in J'ville (they are not on Weight Watchers but they were so good). Brent also got a Alabama National Championship shirt (sorry forgot to take B'day pics). We were suppose to go out to eat Saturday night and our neighbor was going to keep Jacks but he was a little sick. It seems like every other week he gets a runny nose and it comes with a fever. I don't like to even take him outside when he is sick.

We were suppose to go to visit Brent's family today and I was suppose to go to a shower but....Jacks had a fever and I did not want to take him in and out of the car a million times. However, I did make the gift for the shower myself so I wanted to post pics of it. I really wised I knitting when Jackson was born because the newborn things are so cute.

This is a baby cocoon. It is for a girl but I did not want to make a bunch of pink stuff. I saw the cutest new born pic with babies in these. I made a baby headband to go with it. The color is peacock (I did not want to make a pink one) it is much prettier when you see it. I thought the bow was a little big but a lady at work told me the bigger the better. Leigha they do have an adult size if you would like one.

 I did have to make something with some pink. I made this ear flap hat that is suppose to look like a bear. I hope it does? It kind of looks like a mouse. But those pic of newborns with animal hats on are so cute.
