Jackson's first Valentine's day

Well it was a very exciting first Valentines day. Jackson got a new hounds tooth hat from Mom and Dad (Mom made it). He got a heart with choc candy in it from Mawmaw (Brent and I enjoyed that). He also got lots of Valentines from the kids at Daycare.

First he poured them all out of the bag and onto the floor.
Then he started trying to eat them. We had to get the paper out of his mouth.

Then he spread them
all out to see all of them. Then he just
spread them all over the floor by rolling in them.

Brent got me this beautiful orchid. And I got him a cupcake from Jillybeans. I got 1 for Brent, 1 for me, and 1 for Jackson. Since his birthday is coming up we thought he might like to try a cupcake. Oh, I had a coupon buy 3 get 1 free so I had to get my free 1. The flavors were peanut butter cup, Elvis (banana and peanut butter), strawberry covered in chocolate, and a plain one for Jackson.

Jacks was interested in the cupcake. I think he just wanted it because I had it.
Then he wanted to play in the icing, he was a little unsure.

Then he went for it face first. He really did not want to eat it.
He wanted to share it after he smashed it all up. Bear and Bucky did not mind that it was smashed. They thought it was great and they loved Jackson.

He loved playing in the cupcake but did not eat any of it (thank goodness I had the coupon). Even though he did not eat any of it he was so thirst. It was a nice first Valentines Day. We look forward to many more.

  1. Maybe he'll be ready to eat cake in another month :) Love seeing him going face first into it!
