Over fall break we took our first family vacation to the beach. Of course it would not be a family vacation without Bear and Bucky. So Buck thought he would sit in the car seat with Jack. You would think Jack would be a good car rider but he is not so it was a long ride to the beach. When we got there we changed into our bathing suit and our new beach shirt (thanks Jency).

.
At first he was a little unsure about the sand. So Daddy walked him down to the water and he was a little unsure about it. I think the waves were a little scary that day.

So we got out our beach toys and played in the sand. Jack and Daddy played ball on the beach and Jack loved running after the ball in the sand.

He loved it when we saw the animals at the fair and zoo so you know he loved the seagulls. There was a lady feeding them and he had to run over to see them.
Two of the ladies I teach with were staying a couple of condos down so Jack went to play with their kids. The girls are a little older then he is but he loved playing with them. He just loves kids.
There was a little tide pool close to the ocean and he got in there and played. And before we knew it Brent was able to get him in the water.
After that we could not keep him out of the water. He would run to the water and Brent would run after him. When he got in the water he did not want to hold hands or for you to hold him. He just wanted to get in the water by himself. He is such a big boy.

He has started kissing know. Well I guess you can call it kissing he has his mouth wide open and sometimes he even licks you. I think he has gotten to many kisses from Bear and Bucky.
It would not be a beach trip without eating a little sand. He kept making these faces at the old women on the beach and they just loved it.
One night we saw "Captain Jack" by the docks and he made Jack and sword. This is Jack and his new best friend Elmo (aka Momma). When he says Elmo it sounds like Momma.

I tried to take some beach pictures but it is really hard for him to stay in one place. I would get him to sit down, turn around to take the picture, and he was gone. The pictures still turned out cute.

It is time to break out the old overalls so I tried to take his picture in them.

We ate at Fudpuckers and saw the gators. Jack loved this yellow gator (who is that strange looking man in the back of the photo?). In the kids area he loved riding in this car. It was a great trip and I cannot wait to go back next year.
