October fest

Last weekend we went to October fest in German town. It is a nice little area in Nashville. There were lots of people selling baked goods and home made crafts. There were 3 or 4 different stages with bands playing. It was really nice. We ate some polish sausages on sticks and listened to the music. There was this fun kids area where everything was free. There was a toddler bounce house. Jack wanted nothing to do with that bounce house. We tried to put him in it several times but he did not like it.
So we waited in line forever to ride the ponies. Of course he did not like them at all. So Daddy walked beside the pony with him.

I think he had fun even thought he did not want to ride the ponies. Of course we had to take Elmo with us. He goes everywhere now.

We could not leave without having a funnel cake. Jack loved it...we do not feed him many sweet so when he gets some he loves them.

We also got some new shoes this week. I went to 4 stores (who did not carry his size XW) before I went back to the Stride Right store to get his extra wide shoes. In August we bought him size 5.5 this time we bought size 6.5. I never thought I would have to pay over $40 for toddler shoes. But when your child wears and extra wide you do. Thanks Aunt Diane for the new shoes.
