Homecoming

Jacksonville State University had it's homecoming and Brent, Jack, and I had our homecoming to our old home. We have not missed a homecoming in 12 years so we could not miss this one.

Every little gamecock needs a gamecock hat so I just whipped one up. Of course it did not stay on his head very long. Thank goodness he would wear the hood because it was cool.
We stopped by the pumpkin patch in Jacksonville. Last year Jack could only stand up when holding on to the pumpkin. This year  he tried to ride the pumpkins. He liked the little pumpkins also. Then we waited for the parade to start.

Jack really liked the band playing. I tried to get him to turn around for a picture but he could not take his eyes off the ballerinas.

Our wonderful ex-neighbors let us stay with them. Of course Jack loved playing when them. We miss having them as neighbors. Thank goodness Libby would wear the hat I made.

Brent's friend Michel was the DJ and he let Jack DJ for a minute. Then we took our photo in front of the Zeta letters. I made these hats below for my friend Marybeth who is having twins. Some of my other friends were having a baby shower for her.

However, we left before the shower and never made it back. We went to Mawmaw's (the lady who use to watch Jack) and just did not leave. Ian and Mrs. Erin came over to visit with Jack. He just loved swinging in the swing. He wanted to ride Ana's bike so bad. When we move we are going to have to get him a bike. We had a great time visiting with old friends. It was nice to go back "home".
