Big Boy Bed

Well we finally turned the baby bed into a big boy bed. As you can see from the pictures Jack was really excited about it. He has done really well sleeping in the bed. He has only gotten up one time. I was in the kitchen washing dishes and I heard the sweetest little voice saying:
"Hey Mommie. Hey Mommie. Hey Mommie." I looked around the corner and he was peeking out of his bedroom door.

The second night Bucky sleep in the room with Jack. The third night Bucky paced back and forth at the door until we let him in. When we let him in he got in the bed with Jack. Even when Jack rolls around Bucky just moves over for him. Bucky just loves Jack.

Valentine's Day

It was a wild day at school on February 14th. Kids love Valentine's Day. Jack just loved to look at all his cards from his friends. He really liked the candy that all his friends gave him.

Jack gave all his friends Toy Story Valentines and he got some Toy Story ones as well. He just liked carrying the Woody and Buzz cards around. He also found a necklace from a friend in his bag.
When Daddy got home Jack opened his Valentine from Mommy and Daddy. He got the Toy Story 3 movie (because we are so tired of see Toy Story and Toy Story 2 over and over again). He also got Mickey and Minnie pez dispensers. It took him awhile to figure them out but when he did he ate all the pez inside.
Jack also got a Mickey tin of chocolates. He really loves chocolate. We had to hide them from him so he would not want to eat them all.

Playing with friends

Over the weekend Jack went to his friend Sloan's birthday. It was a Minnie Mouse birthday and Jack just loved seeing all the Minnies. Sloan seemed to be having a great time until I sat Jack next to her on the couch. She just scooted away from him. When he got up she started saying Jack come back. Jack was just to busy checking everything out.

They both went outside and road in Sloan's Barbie car. Jack seemed to like it. Sloan's dad had to push the gas peddle with his gold club. Jack could reach the peddle but he would just push it and stop and push it and stop.

Jack has learned a new word "Layla". He has been saying Layla over and over. There are 3 kids in his class at school. One is a boy named Lincoln and the other is a girl named Layla. He just loves Layla. When I peek in at him at daycare he is always loving on Layla. I told him to tell Layla bye this week and he just walked up and kissed her on the lips! The next day I told him to tell Layla bye and he leaned in for the kiss and she leaned in the rest of the way. When we pull in the school parking lot he just starts saying Layla over and over.

Snow Day

Our house backs up to the woods and Jack, Bear, and Bucky love it. The try to get in the woods every chance they can. Around 4 or 5 in the evening three deer have been stopping by for a visit. They do not mind the dogs being outside and the dogs just ignore them. When Jack and I go outside to check them out they do not run. When we get closer they start huffing at us. You can see the left over snow from Friday morning. The ground was covered in snow but we had to go to school.
We woke up Saturday morning to the ground being covered again. Of course it was my day to sleep in.....however, I could not miss out on taking my baby outside to play in the snow. So we ate breakfast really fast and bundled up to go outside. Of course Woody and Buzz had to go with us and they had to play in the snow.

Daddy tried to carry Woody and Buzz for Jack but he was not going to have it. So Jack got them back from Daddy and yelled "Bye" and ran back to the house.

We got him to come back out and play. Woody made a snow angel. Buzz tried but his arms and legs would not move the right way.
We went to the front yard to play. You can see one of our shutters is hanging off from the tornado that came through earlier in the week.

I was really surprised there were no other kids outside playing. However, we were outside at about 7 AM.

Bear and Bucky just had to come out and play. Jack got really excited when they came out. Bear, Bucky, and Jack just ran around the yard.

Jack found a place to sit on a rock in the backyard.

Then he took off running to the front yard and Daddy had to chase after him and Bucky. It was a fun snow day and Jack loved playing in the snow. When we went in the garage to take off our snow clothes Jack's cheeks were rose red.
