Jackson is such a big boy

Jackson is just growing so fast. He is still eating baby food but we started letting him have cut up bananas and he loved them. So we got him some cut up little oranges and he eats them so quickly. So for an afternoon snack he now usually eats a cup of oranges and 1/2 to a whole banana. I am just glad he likes fruit. I guess it is because we have not given him any sweets (except Easter) so fruit is a sweet to him.


He started dancing/bouncing up and down a couple of weeks ago to music. This Sunday we were at Pop's and he asked Brent to crank his motorcycle for him (he has not been able to do it himself since he got out of the hospital). We were all outside and Jackson started dancing to the engine. So we put him on the motorcycle. At first he liked it and bounced up and down on the seat and then he was ready to get down. No real motorcycle rides for him yet.

 

Well for Christmas he got one of these bowls that are not suppose to let food fall out. Well....he really likes the handles because he can carry it around and eat out of it. However, it is one of those things you see on TV and wonder "Does that really work?" Well no it does not really work. There were Cheerios all over the floor. He just picked them up and started eating them. He likes the bowl so I don't mind picking the Cheerios up. He just started eating Cheerios this week and of course my biggest fear happened. He started choking on a Cheerio. That small little thing! Well of course he just threw up and more then just one Cheerio came up. It is exciting to see him eating and doing new things. We are just trying to slowly introduce him to new foods. Don't want to over whelm him.
