Jackson's 1st Haircut

Well it was time for a haircut. Jackson's hair was starting to get a little long in the back and front. So we took him to the farmers market and park at 9 AM. It was so hot we did not stay that long. Jack saw the water and just wanted to get in. We were trying to wear here down before taking him to get his haircut but I think we just all got hot.

So we got the barber shop and Jackson did so well. He just sat in Brent's lap and watched TV and let the lady cut his hair. It went so much better then we thought it would. No crying or anything.

Then we went home and got the watermelon out we bought at the farmers market. Jackson ate it but it is not his favorite. He loves cantaloupe and we cannot give him enough of it.

It has been over 100 degrees almost everyday here so we cannot take Jack to the park to play. However, Opry Mills has an indoor play area for kids. He really loved it! He just ran around and watched the other kids. Then we ate at the Aquarium restaurant and he loved looking at all the fish. After we ate he was ready to play again.

I just finished a sun hat for Jackson. It was a one size fits all pattern. I should have known his head would be bigger then the toddler one size fits all. It barely fits his head.
Jackson had a PJ day at school. It has been so hot they cannot take the kids out to play so they let him wear his PJ's. Thank goodness I had just bought him some PJ's that fit (size 2T). The 18 month PJ's are getting a little tight. I thought he was a big boy since he is 15 months and wearing a 2T however I was talking with another mom in the store and her son was 9 months and wearing a 2T! I had to look at this kid and he was just a big boy. So I guess Jack is not that big.

Just finished this Auburn Tiger hat for Ryan Bonds baby. It turned out cute. Now I am going to look for an elephant hat for Jackson.
