Mother's Day

Well another camera has bit the the dust at the Kent house. So I have not been able to take as many pictures for the blog.                                        When we were leaving the art show at the school we saw the ducks the Girl Scouts made out of logs. Of course Jack had to have his photo taken with the Woody one. This one actually had on a Jessie shirt. He just loved the cowboy hat.

I have never purchased anything on craigslist before and decided to give it a try. I found this solid wood hutch for a steal. Brent and I plan on refinishing it and painting part of it. Jack thinks we purchased it for him. He goes in one door and out the other door. He has even tried to shut himself in.

Look at this cute little face..........

Cute one minute and muddy the next. There is one mud hole in our backyard and of course the minute Brent and I turn our backs Jack is in the hole. He thought playing in the mud was the greatest thing.

Until he realized how cold the water was and he wanted to go inside.

For Mother's Day Jack and Brent got me flowers, a cookie cake, and the hutch above. Jack made me a gift at school and he thought it was for him and wanted to open it. He made me a beautiful Mother's Day plate with his hand print on it. I put the plate on my hutch for everyone to see. It was a wonderful Mother's Day.

  1. I love that little pouty lip face. Too sweet!! I am glad he is getting some good use out of the hutch too. It looks great already, but can't wait to see the final product. Hope your Mother's Day was wonderful.
