Summer is here

 I made this gift for a girl that I work with. She is a Tennessee fan and asked for a Smokey the dog hat. I had to make the pattern myself because I was unable to find one. The diaper cover turned out really cute with the dog tail on it.

Brent found a lady bug outside and tried to get Jack to play with it. Jack just watched the bug but did not want to touch it.

 School is finally out!!! It is nice to be out but I do miss the kids. Our music teacher did a wonderful job with the end of the year performance. Jack is going to a daycare this summer and Brent made sure he looked really nice for his first day.

 So like I said school was officially out as of Tuesday, June 4th.....however I only had Wednesday off before I had to go to training on Thursday. It just does not seem like summer when you have to go to work at least once a week.

I really wanted to do some redecorating/painting this summer. So I started working on our bedroom on Tuesday and got finished on Friday. I painted, changed the curtains, and put up some new art. I still have to paint the ceiling. (The before picture is not very clear.)
